I am constantly traveling to this Mediterranean island, my mums side of the family all live out there which is a great excuses to go to the white sand beaches, soak up all the mediterranean sun and eat all the delicious food!

During may half term we took a short plane ride so we could be back in our favourite island. We started off our trip by just spending a few days by the pool at our hotel. we were staying in larnaca in a small town called Oroklini, which was only a short 20 minute car journey to Ayia Napa. The weather was the nicest, I always recommend going in either May or October as its not too hot like the summer but its around 28 degrees.
3 days into our trip ,we decided to go down to Ayia Napa where we went to one of Cyprus’s most famous beaches, Nissi beach. I will still never get over how beautifully clear the water is and how stunning the white washed beach is. We spent most of the morning either paddling around in the ocean or tanning. But where it got to lunch time we went to the beach bar which also served food, I ordered a big portion of calamari and chips(yum).
sadly our day at the beach was coming to an end as the sun was slowly setting beyond the horizon so we decided to make our way back. We spent the next day resting by the pool whilst sipping on our mojitos (non alcoholic of course) for the action packed day we had ahead.
Day 5; on the Sunday , my family as well as my family who live in cyprus decided to go on a road trip up to Troodos mountain. It was about a 3 hour journey through small villages, the capital city and then terrifying twisty slim roads up the mountain. However all that anxiety was worth it the views where stunning as well as the waterfalls we found!

whilst I was sweating as the scorching sun reflects down on me, I though one of the best things to do was to have a swim in the waterfall. As I put my toes in the water I immediately jumped out, I’ve never felt anything so cold!! It took me 10 minutes to fully submerge my body but after that it was well worth it.
For our last few days we chilled at beaches and at the pool , whilst eating scrumptious food and soaking up our last rays of meditrianian sun. Cyprus is a island that will never fail to disappoint you , and the weather is always gorgeous. So if your looking for a holiday where you can chill, adventure, just get some sun or eat delicious food I would always recommend Cyprus.
